Matt Jarvis is on one sick run. The 2010 november nine member just captured the $5k headsup tournament at the 2010 Canadian Open Poker Championships (COPC). This bodes well for him if he intends to go up against Jonathan Duhamel headsup in the 2010 wsop main event to be crowned the first ever Canadian WSOP main event winner.

Matt Jarvis defeated Christopher Bush to take home $100,000 for his efforts.

Congrats Matt on a job well done, and good luck in November!

The other COPC marquee event – $2200 main event is still happening number. Notable players still in the tournament include Mike “Timex” Mcdonald (sitting in 5th), Brad Booth, and Gavin Smith
