The leader in online poker training the ever so popular Cardrunners has one of the top Canadian tournament poker players on their roster, none other than Mike “Timex” McDonald.  The 20year old poker prodige from Waterloo Ontario has a long list of poker accomplishments and has earned over $2.5 million in lifetime live cashes plus a whole boatload more online.  He was in the news earlier this year when he announced his partial retirement to return to full time studies.

Still in school as a student full time he has temporarily reversed the roles and has become a teacher, a poker teacher that is.  After a 1 year hiatus he has released another poker training video on behalf of Cardrunners.   This new video will be an MTT training video with collaboration with one of the best online MTT players Mement_Mori, the two of them provide expert analysis on their recent 2010 WCOOP main event run.  This video is available for streaming as well as an iPod download.

Cardrunners is also holding their 5th anniversary celebration right now.  In honor of this they are waiving the $100 signup fee, giving out a prize a day including Macbook Airs, iPads, Playstation 3s, as well as a $5k added prize pool tournament to top it off.  For more information here is a good cardrunners review
