The opening rounds of the live tournament take place at the Windsor Hotel in Montreal between March 27th and 30th, 2011. The top 30 players will then compete live on television in Las Vegas for over $250,000 in prizes, including entry to the 2011 World Series of Poker* Main Event. The buyin for this event is $275.
In addition those 30 players will receive a special entry to a poker seminar hosted by a member of Team Full Tilt Pro.
The proceeds of this event benefit the Miriam Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation which supports rehabilitative, vocational and residential services for children and adults living with intellectual disabilities or autism. Established in 1970, the Miriam Foundation supports rehabilitative, vocational and residential services and programs that foster increased socialization and community integration for children and adults living with intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Foundation, through the Lou Greenberg association owns and manages 18 adapted community homes which offer a caring and supportive environment and promote inclusion. The Miriam Foundation also undertakes research and educational initiatives of a national scope through its Abe Gold Learning & Research Centre, including conferences and training and a bilingual national web portal (autism Central). The Miriam Foundation publishes Exceptional Family, a national resource magazine for Parents and caregivers of children with cognitive and physical special needs.

Earn your entry to the Miriam Foundation Montreal Open by playing in our Qualifier Tournaments on Wednesdays at 20:15 ET and Sundays at 16:15 ET for $50 + $5. You can also satellite your way in to Qualifier Tournaments from $3.00 + $0.30. Winners will receive a $500 package. Extra packages may be won with winners receiving 500 T$ (tournament dollars). The prize package consists of entry to the live 6th Annual Full Tilt Poker Miriam Foundation Montreal Open tournament, held at the Windsor Hotel in Montreal, Canada, plus US$225 to be transferred into the player’s Full Tilt Poker account, which can be used toward expenses.
Part 1 of the Full Tilt Poker Miriam Foundation Montreal Open takes place at 19:00 ET on the following days at the Windsor Hotel in Montreal, Canada:

All players will be able to choose which day they want to participate in Part 1 of the live tournament.
The top 100 finishers from each of the three nights of Part 1 return on Wednesday, March 30th, 2011, at 19:00 ET to participate in Part 2. The top 80 finishers in Part 2 will receive cash prizes.
The final 30 players will fly to Las Vegas, where the final three tables will be played at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino and recorded for airing on television. Those 30 players will compete for a share of a prize pool valued at more than US$250,000.
Air and hotel accommodation will be provided to the top 30 finalists for the Final Tournament in Las Vegas.
Top prize is US$20,000 plus a VIP Package for the 2011 World Series of Poker*, including a one-hour poker lesson with a Full Tilt Poker pro. The top ten (10) finishers will be awarded a cash prize plus a WSOP* seat.
