The Canadian Open Poker Championships (COPC) is one of the most popular live poker tournament series in Canada. Taking place in Calgary and sometimes spreading across several of the local casinos, the 2012 COPC will run from August 22 to September 2, 2012 and will remain strictly at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. 10 events over 12 days in Calgary with an estimated $3.8 million in prize pools. The series concludes witha $2200 buyin Main event on Friday Aug 31 at 12pm. It is a 2 day event with 25,000 starting chips and 45 minute blinds.
